Looking For A Job Abroad?

How did you get a job abroad?

How can you apply for a job online?

Well some are asking, and I wanna share to you how I got a job here in the middle east.

I was working my ass off at my former hospital back there in the Philippines, and still getting very low pay. I thought, I didn't deserved it! I could have more.

A friend told me how much they earned working there, but I was reluctant because, middle east was extremely hot! and very much a Muslim country! I won't enjoy working there, I told them.

She just answered me this...do you have a dream? Own your house? Buy anything you want? Do you wish to help your family? Do you wish of giving them better life? You can't have them while you're stuck in here...

It hit me. Its been five years since I started working here and yet, I haven't have a single penny on my bank account! I can't save up for my future. My salary was just enough to pay all my basic needs and couldn't even share some to my family. Its awful.

So I made a decision: I will apply for a job abroad. But not in Saudi Arabia! definitely not! LOL. Somewhere not so strict I said, an open city like Dubai or Qatar perhaps.

So I sat in front of my laptop and went to the:

(1) POEA website. I want it to be legal and safe.
(2) clicked on online services at the right side.
(3)clicked approved job orders.
(4) saw three links: approved job orders by position, by country and by agency.
(5)I clicked on them and typed in my title on the search bar. I found tons of results.
(6)I listed those recruitment agencies on a piece of paper. I narrowed it down to a shorter lists.
(7)I started visiting those agencies websites. There's a link wherein you could check if that agency is legal or not on the POEA website as well. (click here)
(8)I only picked agencies who are not asking for placement fees. I found three. Mahirap ang buhay now noh, kaya dapat yun walang placement fees and piliin!
(9)I updated my resume. Took new photos too, yun cute LOL!
(10) I submitted my resume online. Visit them personally too, sometimes, they appreciate a personal submissions, you know!
(11)I waited. And go on with my life. Prayed too! O di ba, nagdadasal din ako noh!

After a month, two of the three agencies called me. The other one bound for Dubai and the other in Doha. Asking me to submit this and that. That one in Dubai was promising. An American hospital, I said wow! But i have too get through a lot of interviews and exams. I was on my 2nd interview when the agency going to Doha called me again, and asking me to send my resume to their email again. I did.

After a month. I was told that out of 5o applicants I was one of 5 being picked and about to be offered a contract!

I was like whoa! Whats this? No interview? No exams? is this true??? Just my resume and my credentials????

Of course, I asked the agency about it. They said, they are picking applicants based on educational background, years of work experience, seminars attended and etc.

Was my credentials that good? Toinks!

After almost six months of preparing the necessary documents and requirements. I'm finally here in Doha, having a good time and the rest is history.

I hope this post helps.

Mr.Italian III

the souq

The next day,it was Saturday, around 2pm I just woke up, my day off, I opened my facebook and there he was online, I asked him how was he?and he said he just stayed home and ate cookies because he haven't eat anything since last night.I felt guilty.I told him to go out and dine in somewhere, but he said maybe he would go...alone.

"OK,I will go with you." I don't know where that came from!haha

"Really? You will come with me?we will go to the souk(market) and eat somewhere. What time should I pick you up?" --Italian

"Do you know how to get here at my place?"

"No.But I will check the map!LOL"

I told him how to get to my location, I'm a little worried because he said last night he always get lost on the road since he only got here for about ten days only haha. He even told me he was going round and round the roads for about one and a half hour trying to figure out which way to go to his condominium building!

He called me on my cell and i swear he has the most cutest voice i ever heard!LOL (OK that's exagg!)

"OK,If ever I get lost again i will call you haha see you in an hour" --italian

I prepared for our date!date?!Is this a date?haha No, this is just a friendly date.I guess.

Its 3:30 pm I walked through to where he should pick me up,i told him to stop by a bakery near our street because he might have difficulty finding my building so i sacrificed a little bit and walked in the 45 degrees heat of the sun!aghh!

I stand near the bakery and look for an Italian guy, I'm a little nervous and excited at the same time. One minute, two minutes and exactly three minutes later I heard a "beep-beep" from a blue car and a nice smile from its driver and waving his hand on me...

Oh my...its him...i told myself.

I walked slowly into his car and opened the door and sat beside him, he was wearing his cutest smile and said "hi" to me.I shake his hands and said "did you got lost finding this place?" and he said no,he thought i might be at the corner of the road that's why he went there when i wasn't at the bakery at 3:30pm, yeah yeah I'm late for about ten minutes hahaha!

"So where are we going?"I asked him

'To the souk"

"Do you know how to get there?" me

"Maybe, we'll find it.I guess!" --I just laughed at his not so worried voice. he has this personality in him, that everything will be alright and his laughing and smiling is so contagious.I don't even feel nervous with his company.I felt that I've known him a long time ago, because he's so nice and friendly! And cuteeeee!!!!

We went at the souk, its my first time there, many Indians are selling anything, clothes, watches, scarf, figurines, Arabian arts, Lebanese products ,jewelries, perfumes, and many other great stuffs. We strolled through some restaurants and hang out place too, he said he's looking for a place where we could chill and have something to eat.

He's asking me what to eat I said just anything that is not so heavy since I'm still full. he chose this cafe' and i ordered a piece of cake and a shake, while he had coffee. We talked, he was laughing at my jokes and we basically talked about anything. I love his company,I'm sure he will be a great friend to me.

He said he is a shy guy, he wont go to a bar and pick up on someone he met there. We talked about anything, had an ex back home, Well, I don't know if they are still together or what, but I'm not expecting anything at this moment but just having a new friend.

He asked some personal stuffs about my life, like boyfriends, family, friends and about my work.
"when is your day off usually" he asked, I said ''every Fridays and Saturdays"

"I have my offs every Saturday" he said after.

"how long you plan on staying here in this country?"--me

"I don't know,if i enjoy my life here I might stay for long. How about you "You think you can stay longer?" --italian

"Yeah i think so,I'm beginning to enjoy my stay here,I got new friends and a good job"

When I told him I wanted to move to Canada in the future and have my partner there and have a kid of our own he was laughing and told me I'm crazy!haha.

"Canada is so freakin' cold!" he added

"Have you been to the manila?" I said

"No,not yet, but now I think i might visit it..."he answered with a mysterious smile

"so where do you wanna go next?" he asked me after some time after he payed the bill.

"I don't know, you are the boss" I told him while laughing

"No,no, you are the boss, tell me where do you wanna go" he said

"OK i wanna see the water near the road..."--me. Its a place like Roxas boulevard in manila. Its a great place i only saw it when we pass by it going home from the mall.

He took me there and we just walked while talking.Other Filipinos are looking at us.Wondering or thinking " oh yun oh pumatol sa foreigner" LOL. he is so tall,he stands 6'2 against my 5'6 height!haha I'm only up to his chin when we're closer.

Its already dark and he said he will take me to the place where he works.

We cant come inside and give me a tour there since its a formal place haha and I'm wearing my old crappy jeans! We decided to have dinner somewhere and as we hit the road he realized we were lost! we just go with the flow and laughed at our ignorance on the roads and places here! We are two foreign gay guys who are not familiar with this country!take that!LOL

"Do you have any idea where are we right now"--I asked

"I don't have a single clue!" and we both laughed so hard!

After 30 minutes we found the right way where we supposed to eat, he took me to this Moroccan restaurant, the place is a little dark with only red light and lamps on tables, the music is a traditional Moroccan, i kinda thought its a romantic date after all!LOL or I'm just assuming, no, its just a friendly date!

We sat there and I let him ordered i don't know a thing about their menu!haha. He said its his first time there too.So we just made a wild guess which one to order and hoping it will be good. The cute waiter brought us a camel and a lamb dish. With bread that has a very spicy spread!Yuck!haha

We're just laughing at the food we ate,we don't like it,too much spices and sweets! We both swear we wont eat there again!

After that, I asked him to take me home because i need to prepare my stuff for my duty early in the morning even if i still don't want the night with him to end. He said he don't have anything to do at home I know if he has a choice he still wanted us to go somewhere and have a good night out.

We still had a hard time finding the right way towards my building, and a good thing because we had a little more time to talk. He asked me if I have no boyfriend left in the Philippines and I told him no more, but i like this someone I met at the bus haha."so are you two still chatting till now?" he asked,I don't know if its just my imagination or so that I sensed a little worry or jealousy from that question.

When we finally find the right building he stop at the side and wait for me to get out. i felt awkward a little bit,its goodbye time. What should i do?should i invite him to come for a while?what if he agreed to come upstairs?will i be in trouble that he might think its a sexual invitation?or should I kiss or hug him goodbye?

"So,goodbye for now,do you want to come up for a while?" I asked and damn!why my mouth said that!i don't wanna say that!LOL I don't want him to come up i still have a lot of things to do like ironing my clothes and cook my food for my breakfast at my duty the next day and I told that to him earlier(You see i cook my food at night because I'm too lazy to get up from bed too early haha)

"Should I park here?Is that alright?" he said smiling. And in my mind "oh no I'm in trouble!he wants to come up!" but he added in the end "oh, I know you still have a lot of things to do now,so maybe next time will be good"he added.*sigh* thank you Lord!haha

"yeah,so, goodnight..." i did the move to shake his hand instead of kissing him goodnight LOL good thing i had great control that time.

So that's it.I had great time with him, he is a great guy. The next morning he left me an offline message saying he had a great time and hope I had too and that he would see me next time.Lets see whats next!Ciao!

Stalking?

It was 9 in the morning and I was on duty at the surgical ICU that day, after I finished all of my tasks, I was about to go back to our unit to rest and wait for any calls from my assigned area, as I was walking the hallway, there he is...on the phone...smiling...like an apparition in front of me...

And I was like "Oh My God!" he is so damn cute!!!! LOL

He was walking in front of me, he was wearing their traditional Arab dress which is up to their feet long. And that red checkered cloth on top of his head added the effect of his looks being so divine! (see traditional Arab clothes here)

I lowered down my eyes and I can see from my x-ray visions that he was not wearing briefs...his d*ck was like a pendulum shifting from left to right side of his leg as he walk...so hotttttttttt!!!

if I'm not mistaken this is what they wear underneath

He was the best looking guy I saw in this country so far! He is tall, and slender and so BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm lost for words to describe for this cutie!

I think he is about 25 years old, as I walked pass him, his smell left in the air and I was like stunned!Hypnotized!

And I cant get enough!!!hahaha I was hungry that time and just the sight of him made me forget all about my cravings to eat so i decided to follow him wherever he will be going on this side of the hospital! Gosh I have the stalking capability LOL!

I just want to see more of him, nothing else, I just like looking at him for a few more minutes that's what I told myself. It was like I'm just cruising. I can compare this to window shopping, right!that's right window shopping! (defensive)

I made a little distance from his back so that he wont notice that I'm stalking I mean checking him out haha, as I was walking behind this beautiful creature this country has ever produced i noticed someone very familiar in front of my Arab...coming towards me...

My Jordanian senior staff!!!

What the hell is he doing here downstairs??? he's supposed to be upstairs!LOL

So my hap-penis was ruined at the site of my superior!

Its too late to avoid him he already saw me and he looked puzzled!

He greeted me and put his arms around my shoulders and asked me where I'm going, that my area is on the other side.

"I didn't realized I was heading the wrong way sir, its a good thing I saw you!" this was what I told him instead! And I took a peek of my favorite Arab and he was gone huhu

Anyway I wanna share to you some photosI have taken when i was at my favorite mall here in Qatar so far, Villagio. I think this is same place Boys over Flowers shot their few episodes.

The ceiling is so amazing!

And this part of the mall I love most, they have a river inside just like in Italy. And look at the roof, its a fake sky and it seem so real!Lovely!

This is the view from my room at the 6th floor

and this is me feeling emo at the hospital window LOL!

Everything Will Get Better...

Thank God I have my Internet connection already! I found many Pinoys on our building and asked them If I could share their Internet connection haha all are willing to help. So now Im online!Yippee!!!

Anyway, I'm still adjusting to the life here In Qatar, and so thus my body! I have pimples again, I have colds, I have cough, there are times I felt like having a fever (not that I have A(H1N1) OK!haha) .I just hope everything will get better soon.

Its so funny when my male co-worker on our department are calling me "pare"(or dude), I was laughing inside my mind. I'm thinking, should i announced it already or what so that there wont be any misunderstanding, there were times they are hooking me to some single ladies (nurses, therapist) at the hospital hahaha!

I just smiled and said "I'm not yet ready..." and continued in my thought "for a new bf LOL"

They are all great and friendly, I'm not having problems with other staffs at work. All are willing to help me. We have other nationalities there too, I just have to get use to their smell. Its really not a pleasant smell. Body odor.

I was online the other day and I stumbled upon this guy and we talked for a bit he's here at Qatar too and I got so excited that I might find someone "gay/bi" like me, and honestly I'm a little bit horny!LOL and thought I might get lucky and get laid!haha

He told me he is near our building and I asked him he can come and visit our flat some time and have some good conversation. He said "why don't you just ask me if I wanna have sex with you?" and I was like denying at first haha though its what I want but there's no way I will admit it "yet" LOL!

"Of course not! Oh I'm not like that!I just want some company and meet new friends" my nose could have been longer if I'm Pinocchio! We haven't chat again after that.

Well, I'm here to work so I have take it off my mind. No more gay guys for me at the moment. If he comes then he is welcome. If not, I'll just kidnap anyone LOL!

Oh I have the strangest moment last night, I was in my room and sitting on the sofa when suddenly I felt like crying!Waaaa...I didn't know why all of a sudden I felt like...so alone...so lonely. I finally realized, this is what they called: Homesickness!

It didn't occurred to me that I could feel it, I mean I'm always away from home. I am used to being out of our house for long period of times. I even laughed at friends who said they cried at night and said it wont happen to me haha! Now I know what they feel!!!

I fought the urge to call my mom and ask her to buy me ticket back home!LOL I just open my laptop and played those hip hop and dance music, thank God it passed away and felt a little better *sigh*

I know everything will get better...

Soon.

Im Still Alive!LOL!

Hello everyone!finally i am able to connect to the net!!!I cant apply yet for an Internet connection because I don't have my Qatar ID as of this moment.Well, I'm actually doing good here,I didn't puke on the plane!LOL. Its actually a little boring for me. The Filipino Muslim guy I was telling you on my last post is a nice guy,old but a good person, we are living together on our accommodation.

Qatar is a hot country. It feels like I'm in the oven, temperatures are like 40 degrees, hotter than our country.I love our house though, its big, condo-like.We live in the 6th floor, 3 bedrooms one for each of us.We're still waiting for the third housemate. All air conditioned, with furnitures and some basic appliances too (TV,washing machine, gas stove, ref)

Our hospital provided us with 3 days free food and transportation(not bus,but a car!). I still have a lot of getting use to at my job,the machines and procedures are so different from what I'm trained with.I have many Filipino co-employee.Some are friendly and some are not (yet.hehe) I'm still testing the water if you know what I mean.

And my favorite part of being here in Qatar is...drum roll please...the Arab guysssssssssssss!LOL! When I arrived at the airport and I saw those good looking Arabs wearing those white long gown(LOL) with that cloth on their head it felt like I'm seeing saints!!!so hottttt!!!!I never thought I'll be attracted,Gosh!!!!

And the added bonus?well they don't wear underwears, just a thin pants or shorts inside and when the wind blows you could actually see the silhouette! Its big!haha.I don't know there's something in them that spells hotness! I cant wait to see some naked Arabs in the future!LOL

We just have some problems with food since I don't know how to cook!anyway,I'll update u guys soon!

Like A Stone

In a few days, I'll be at Qatar, well that is, if I don't encounter any problem prior to my flight!LOL. So I'm thinking positive now.

In a few days, I'll be on a new environment, a place where I don't know anyone...culture and language so unknown to me..

In a few days, I'll be waking up on a totally different room and house....no annoying sister, no stubborn 5 year old nephew and no alcoholic father too LOL!

In a few days, I'll be on the hospital laboratory and halls once again. A familiar scent that I'm so used to...

In a few days, I'll be around death again...people are surviving and some are dying...a fact that I have accepted long time ago...

In a few days, I have to put up a strong face when someone dies and prevent myself from being affected...a front that took me a long time to master...

I remembered the first time someone died on my hand...My first week on my job (what is an RT?). I was resuscitating this old woman, a patient on one of our ward that was so loved by her children...she suffered a heart attack and I was called together with a team of nurses and did the code blue...but its her time...the doctor pronounced the time of death..

Suddenly this woman rushed unto me crying, grabbed my arm and begged "please don't stop..keep on resuscitating her...don't stop please...please" the other kids are hysterical...just like in the movies, only that this is real, you could feel their emotions, their anguish, their loss...

She went at her lifeless mother lying on the bed and she started compressing her chest just like what she saw me doing ,as if she could revive her dead mother. I stand still, there's nothing we or I could do...I excused my self and went at the bathroom, there, I let the tears that I was holding back while ago to flow freely...It really affected me....

My first death.I was so affected.

Time goes by, sometimes everyday, weekly, someone dies on our duty and I began to be emotionless, unaffected, playing tough, playing professional. Like a stone.

That's why whenever I see a patient survived death and came out of the ICU, where I spent most of my duty, it gives me so much happiness knowing I was part of his/her wellness.

There was this rich patient that survived her near death experience from a fatal car accident and gave our team 5oo pesos each after a month of being discharged. She's so thankful to us. She considered us her "heroes".

Hmm, I wonder why only 5oo?Kidding!!!!!!!!

Cleaning Out

My agency informed me last week that my working visa is already available, meaning they have already corrected the error on my surname. So I'm good to go haha. Finally, the long wait is over. I went at the agency at Makati to confirm it and they told me that they are only waiting for my plane ticket and that I will be flying next week around June 22 onwards.

I started preparing for my stuffs, I bought a cheap and dependable laptop so that when I get there I can talk to my family and friends.(because i cant bring my ancient personal computer!LOL) You know to avoid homesickness. The laptop will keep me busy including blogging. Last Monday me and my sister went at SM to look for a suitcase, I had fun choosing haha, we also bought some of my personal belongings like underwear, socks, toiletries etc.

I did a checklist of what else to bring, I hope I can cover them all within this week .Tonight, I cleaned my room and put all of my things and documents on labeled boxes and some went directly onto the trashcan. Gosh I didn't realize I have so much garbage on my room!haha. Well, blame it on my habit of not throwing everything up and thinking i might use it someday. Now its payback time. The clutter.

I stumbled upon some of my gay porn magazines and DVDs!haha. Tons of them! I could make my own library and video rentals if I want to! Those were the days! I remembered travelling for like an hour and disguising myself so that people won't recognize me that I'm buying these gay "entertainment" LOL! I was laughing while flipping the pages when I saw some stains on it!!!

It's embarrassing if my dad or sister will find this by accident when I'm gone in the house! Good thing I made this cleaning schedule today! I immediately took the magazines outside and burned them one by one.My annoying sister saw me and said "what the hell are you doing? What are you burning here??" I immediately hid the remaining dirty magazines at once haha. But knowing her, she caught my hand and saw it.

"Oh My Gawddddd! You pervert!!!"

"Shut up!They are old and I'm getting rid of them now!"

"No. Don't you feel bad burning them?!....look at this guy's d*@k!!!!"

"No. I'm done with magazines and DVD, I'm high tech now, I have porn sites on the Internet!" LOL

"Wait, let me keep the magazines, I will look at them later and hide them under my bed"

"You little pervertttttttttttttt" and she walked away carrying my magazines.

I had a hard time disposing the DVDs and their cases though, I don't wanna throw them just like that, some people might see the images on the covers,(pati sa basurero nahihiya ako!) so I wrapped them on old newspapers and put them under some of my big trash. Problem solved! My room is now wholesome!LOL!!!!My nephew can use this room once I'm gone next week.

Now, I'm busy organizing my files and transferring them from my old PC on this new laptop haha.I also have to leave this computer wholesome, you know! I do regret erasing some good porn downloads I did few years back. They're my favorite!huhuhu. Tomorrow I will wear black to mourn them!LOL. And FYI:I cant bring those files at Qatar. Porn are prohibited there! Even those stuff saved on your cellphone!

Homosexuality are not allowed too. But I've been told you have to do it discreetly and you will be fine. Hayyyyyy...away from home, family, friends, no boyfriends, no flings, and now...no porn. I don't know if I could even update my Macsteamy blog! hahaha. These are the things I need to sacrifice for money!LOL.

Anyway, see you next time peeps!

My PDOS

Today at 11:10 am I was already at Pasay city and looking at the venue of my Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS), it is a requirement for all overseas Filipino worker (OFW) before going to another country to work. It will give you an idea on how it is living on another country, about their rules, laws ,whats not to do and what to do when you reached your destination first time, a pretty helpful thing, I totally agree with the purpose of this seminar.

(requirements for PDOS: referral slip from your agency, ball pen, and a 100 pesos)

I was perspiring all over when I got there, my god, the sun was so angry that he gave all of his UV rays today!LOL. Good thing that the place was air conditioned! There wasn't much eye candies at the seminar, most of my participants are older and are seaman's, electricians, DH's and IT's. I tried to be friendly talking a little to some seated near me and they didn't know what an RT again when they asked me what will be my work at the middle east. Well, whats new anyway!!!

(What the hell is an RT?Read here)

It lasted 5 and a half hours!I almost fell asleep haha.My god, seminars are very good sleeping venue!I paid 100 pesos for the PDOS certificate, then another 100 pesos at that OFW family club thing, that it is for our ID that this guy was telling about, that if we have their ID, they will help any OFW who are in trouble overseas (But what are the Philippine Embassy's for????!I wanted to asked him haha)

In my mind I thought, a little too expensive for just a laminated I.D, there were like 40 people in that room and they could have 4,000 pesos in just minutes wow!!!!20 pesos will be fine, right?! Well, they are NGO's so I just convinced myself that they need funding. But what I don't like about it was, they could have give us an option whether we would like to join the club or not.Not compulsory.

I like the first speaker though from metro bank,(cutie) he told us about their banking system wherein we could send our remittances to our families. Then I got back to myself again when the next speaker talked about sex and AIDS. I already knew what he was talking about, how we could get aids, how to avoid it etc etc.

I'm just bothered by the Tagalog translation haha, you see, when an English word was translated to Tagalog, it gave a very rude, indecent and funny feel to it!Like vaginal secretions--hima, semen--tam*d, and mind you, he said those words so many times that I already got an erection!LOL

sabay sabay tayo: tam*d...tam*d...tamod..ay di ko naalis ang "O" sa last one!!!

Anyway for the sake of sharing information about AIDS I will give you this lists:
  • Aids cannot be transferred through kissing or their saliva.
  • It cannot be transferred through hugging, cuddling.
  • You cant get it through nasal secretions, tears, sweats, urine of a person with HIV/AIDS
  • Even oral sex are low probability. But I think if you blow someone with HIV and he pre-ejaculated or cum on your mouth that's when the time its scary. So guys be careful with anything you put in your mouth haha. You never know who has it, they looks exactly like us.Like a perfectly healthy good looking guy. They could be the one you picked up on a bath house,a spa,a bar or wherever.
  • So wear a condom. Or just be faithful with your partners and if your single since birth, be faithful with your left hand like me LOL!
  • The only HIV/AIDS transmission would be through, sexual intercourse both vaginal and anal, needle sharing, blood transfusions, and mother to baby. But the probability that the baby could get it if the mother is positive is only 15 to 25% so it is very possible the baby will be aids-free.Wow!
  • If wanna get your self checked, you have to wait at least I think 3-6 months after sexual activity since there's this thing called window-period.
Well, that's all in my coconut shell about AIDS, hope it helps hehe. Anyway, the last speaker was a lot of fun,its about foreign language, he taught us some Arabic words like:
  • As-Salam-Alaikom which is a general greetings wherever whenever
  • kaif al-hal? which means how are you?
  • kuayyis which means I'm fine
  • shokran which means thank you
  • whismak? which means what is your name?
  • and you will answer it with esmi mac which means my name is mac
Those are the basics hehe, i bought a Tagalog-Arabic dictionary too. But all in all I'm not satisfied with the seminar, its not as comprehensive as I thought it was. I mean there's a lot of stuffs i wanted to know, like how about the gay scenes there, are gays allowed to wear gowns there?LOL! or can I bring my gay love story DVDs?those wholesome ones of course. Are we allowed to date other gay men there? go to the hotel and spend some night together?(libog na to!LOL) so please if you are a reader of mine from the middle east... help me hahaha!

A Family Show: Coming Home

I will call my mom and dad "mother and father lily" in this entry haha"

Yippee! We're going to pick up my mom at the airport (NAIA) this Monday morning at 10 am!Kinda early but its alright, anything for my beloved mother-lily LOL! It would be the happiest day of my life, seeing her again after two years,I didn't realized that it was that long already. We just missed her so much! She must be really excited to see her only grandchild (since all of my kids are killed at the bathroom drainage LOL!)

She'll be having her month long vacation leave from work at Dubai. My mom have been in and out of Dubai for a while now, its like less than ten years already, she went there to send me to college and have hope in heart that I'll be the one to give my family comfort in life!haha what a shame I only gave them comfort rooms!LOL. I'm still nothing up to this day!Darn that visa from Qatar! Its like 48 years already why the hell its not here yet?(nagalit na LOL)

That's one of the reasons, that the title of this blog is "Living the Expectations". Its only fortunate that my mom have a great job there, its not something that she didn't like,s he's happy doing her own thing, she drives her own car, living in a nice unit, there was this time time when she missed her job badly back at Dubai when her vacation took at least two months here in the Philippines way back then.

We asked mother lily if she wants to share my dad's bed when she get here, on the phone last night and she said ,"oh no! I'll be sleeping with Anton(my 5 year old nephew)" and I was like "i told you so" to my sister, because she's having this idea that mom will actually be sleeping at dad's bed, she just didn't get it, that mother lily has fallen out of love to her husband already.A very long time ago.

We just don't know how father lily will take this, for all i know, he's expecting it to be the other way around. He might be un-manageable if he finds out that mother lily wont be sleeping with him,I feel the pity for him,he needs to wake up to reality. My mom is just being civil, she's doing her best to be friendly at him, but dad, thinks otherwise.

Actually I'm bothered, what will happen? I mean by the time my mom reached home. This will be the first time, she will actually spending time together with my father, because not until last year, my dad worked as a supervisor at a food processing at Saudi Arabia.Mother lily was always successful avoiding him, like she's having her vacation leave every month of May and dad will be having his at December, its been like that for like 5 years or so.

But dad quit his job and now living like a king here LOL!See yah next time!

By the way I created a multiply account haha.pls add me up if you have I'm so kawawa I don't have any friends there yet! www.maccallister.multiply.com

Proud Of Him

I was so busy the whole week!Been to manila and back!So tiring!Ive been completing my last sets of requirement for my application to work abroad. And today I went to my school at Biñan then went straight to Lipa city to my former hospital.I have to ask them to sign and fill up a verification form and be my reference for my employer.I asked our chief nurse, our HRD head and one co-lab employee to be that final three hehe and all of them are my friends so I manipulated and dictated all their statements and answers LOL!

I've been there like for 4 hours(may kasama na chika siyempre) completing all of it and putting them in an enclosed envelop take note, sign sealed and to be delivered to Qatar!hehe. As I was at the Nursing office,I saw some of the headnurse are at the computer and I got intrigued whats keeping them to it "the Nursing Board Exam results are in!" they said! and I was like "Oh really???let me butt in!haha and I took over to search for one name: Brian's.And I was like so nervous waiting for the page to load...

Brian have been denying that he took the exam last November,I've been bugging him about it,and still kept on lying, but me and Berna are so sure that he took the exam, but we play along with his dramatics. We just thought that maybe Brian was cautious so that if ever he fails we wont know about it.

And then the page finally loaded the surnames starting with the letter "S" and OH MY GOD!!!!He passed!!!!Yipee!I've never been happy this much that my chest almost explode with excitement!I looked for my friend Sasha who was having an endorsement at that time and I said "He passed!Brian passed the exam!!!then I immediately texted Berna about it!Im so proud of him I know a lot of nurses who failed the exam 3 times already.

Brian met my two closest friend before a couples of time since we've been together for 8 months last year and I used to bring him at the hospital during my duties at night hehe we even made love to the laboratory room 2times!LOL! reminds me of Grey's Anatomy's Dr.Sloan and Dr.Torres hehe.Thats exciting though, you should try it,making out inside a hospital facility!haha

Then I remembered to text the man of the hour. Here was our text conversation.Sorry to bore you with this hehe:

Me: "Nakapasa ka pala sa board exam nakita ko ngayon!Hmmp!arte arte nito!
Brian:"haha!Oo,thanks!Mwah."
Me: "nag iinarte ka pa na di nag exam!Ang galing galing naman nakapasa ja!Im so proud of you!
Brian: "haha hiya ako pag bumagsak e.."
Me: "Arte mo talaga pati sakin nahihiya ka pa,I already told Berna and Sasha about it"
Brian: "What did they said?Baka pwede mo na me i-apply jan sa hospital nyo? haha.Im so happy grabe!"

Then I said to him to pass his resume so that when they need someone his papers are already a top priority since Im cheek to cheek with the HRD hehe. Then an unexpected reply came:

Brian: "hehe..ikaw nga nung umalis ako deadma ka lang e.Kainis ka!..di ka man lang tumayo"
Me: "Naartehan ako sau nung gabi e kaya tinamad na ko,dapat di pa kita pauwiin sana"
Brian: "Naartehan ka ba talaga o nagselos?haha"
Me: "Ngak!Kanino ako magseselos???(remember the call he received that night when he was staying at my room last tuesday night?thats what he's talkin about hehe) ayaw mo kasi magpahalik at makipag make love sakin kaya ako tinamad na..."

Now its 100% sure..he still cares for me.haha and he really wants me to lust about him thats why he's stalling me!And when Im typing another reply to his text then "it's message failed" I dont have any credits left!Putikkk!hahaha

Job Offer At Qatar

This morning I went to Makati, you know for my meeting with my recruitment agency to work overseas, I'm going to the middle east as a therapist by the way..ooohh scary! haha. But actually its just my second choice

I came at their office at around 11am,the place is nice and the staff are friendly and they accommodate me very well, which is just right I'm a client you know.hehe.Ms.Marie was talking to this guy, so i have to wait, who is complaining about the fee the he have to pay for backing out of his employment,Ms.Marie said that it is every agencies rule to pay 200 USD, (hmm i took my cel and calculate the amount, geez! Its whooping 9 thou plus!) for every job withdrawal whose visa's processing is ongoing.

When its my turn I said good morning, and she asked about my name and she look for her folder and took out a paper from it and showed it to me.Its an "Offer Of Employment" it stated that I will be receiving that salary every month with a transpo allowance, a little short of my what I'm expecting but not too much, that the accommodation is free, that I will have an annual leave of 30days for the whole 3years contract.Hmmm, sounds like a nice offer I thought to myself. But the food is not free! I asked her some questions and she gladly answered them.

One of them was,why don't I need to do an interview and examination, if its alright and is it unusual? She said, yeah, usually we do required them to most applicant, but she added that, this is rather a great oppurtunity and I should consider my self lucky, because the employer is needing my service urgently and the management of _____ Medical Corporation screened 50 resume's and credentials submitted to them through my agency including mine and only 5 of us were chosen! That was a real shocker to me! I mean Wow! I'm really that great?!

But at the back of my mind...ows?you might told that to a couple of people already to make me feel good hehe .But I don't know, she might be telling the truth or not.No one knew. But that really made me feel great what if that's really my fate and I'm being so lucky? Why would I not accept it? I said to her, can I think it over? She said "what else to think? this is a rare opportunity?you should grab this already."

I called my mom and asked her about it,because my mom is in Dubai for less than 10 years now and she said OK you can sign it its not a bad offer anyway so I went inside the office and signed the offer of employment. But its not yet binding so its alright if I back out within this week haha. She gave me some papers and referrals for my medical next week and I should prepare some documents and if everything goes well I'll just have to wait for my contract and visa and ticket...ooh,I cant believe its happening, within 3months time I will be on that plane!!!if I submitted my passpot to them together with the result of my medical I cant back out anymore,it means my visa will be processed.
But hey, with all the money I'm getting I can buy a lot of stuff! haha. I mean,my mom has her own job at Dubai,my dad is just waiting for his plane ticket he already have his visa bound to Dubai too, my sister is married to a husband whose working at Saudi we have a small business, I thought I don't have to share my money with my family every one has their own already, right?Yahoo!!!!my money are all mine!Imagine all the guys I can buy!!LOL

A Job Opportunity

I received a text this afternoon from one of my recruitment agency from makati, said my offer for employment from _____ Hospital as a respiratory therapist is ready and forwarded to my email. I called the number and confirmed it, last november they asked me to send my CV through email and they will be forwarding it to the employer abroad, and now the result is in! Wow!

The lady I talked to told me that its a "good as hired" already.Meaning I dont have to do an interview and examination that I will have to do my physical exam. But its kinda makes me wondering,is that really possible?I asked around, they said its really possible. The lady told me to come in person to discuss the offer (the salary) if it suits me.So I will pay a visit tomorrow.

Don't worry guys,I have checked all the recruitments agency that I've submitted my CV to.I know the drill. And its SOP not to pay for anything unless I have a valid contract and visa in hand. And besides I only chose those who dont require placement fee.

Another one is from an email I got from my application as caregiver to canada, they said I should reply right away for them to know if im interested,So far Im still waiting.
