After reading both sides of the story (i.e., I read both your entry and EDC's about the break-up), it really does look like you two were on two different wavelengths.
I just find it peculiar that it was when the two of you finally met that you decided to part ways; unlike most LDRs where it's the time both partners spend apart that the relationship usually goes down the drain.
Anyway, I just wish the two of you much love in the future. :)
